Lighting Technician

Help turn sound into architecture. As Lighting Technician at ECHO DISTRICT, you’ll design and operate the light that shapes our nights—strobes, lasers, and LED walls—always synced to the pulse.

At ECHO DISTRICT, light is part of the set. You’ll prepare and operate our lighting systems during club nights, showcases, and special events. From pre-programming looks to live improvisation with the DJ, you create the atmosphere our crowd feels in their bones.

Requirements

  • Experience with lighting consoles (MA/OnPC/DMX software).
  • Strong sense of timing, atmosphere, and contrast.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, late-night environments.
  • Technical understanding of lasers/haze and safety protocols.
  • Weekend availability; ability to lift and work at height.

Responsibilities

  • Program and operate lighting shows (strobes, lasers, LED, hazers).
  • Coordinate pre-show rig checks and address fixtures (DMX/Artnet).
  • Build cue stacks and improvise live with the DJ set.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment during events.
  • Collaborate with VJ/visuals team for cohesive looks.
  • Follow safety procedures for rigging, lasers, and haze.
